The Balearic Government's tourism service counts around 300 stalls, which makes it one of the bigger weekly markets on the island. The food side covers agricultural produce including organic growers, cheeses, cured meats, baked goods, olives and honey. The rest is flowers, clothing, leather and craftwork. The square itself, with the plane trees and the church steps at one end, is a good part of the reason to go.
