Restaurante Modesto opened in 1967, started by an emigrant who came back to Mallorca after years working in Canada with the dream of running his own place. In 2015 it relocated to a modernized space across the street in Cala Sant Vicenç, near Pollença. It's now part of the MYSTIC Group, which runs several restaurants in the north of the island.
