When you upload photos or images to Guidavera, you grant us the same licence described above. Additionally, you acknowledge and agree that:

• Guidavera may use your uploaded images across the platform, including on restaurant pages, editorial content, marketing materials, social media, and any other Guidavera channels — with or without attribution.
• Guidavera may crop, resize, filter, overlay text on, or otherwise modify your images to suit our editorial and design needs.
• This licence persists even if you delete your account or remove the original post. Guidavera is not obligated to remove images that have been incorporated into other content on the platform.
• You retain ownership of your original photos. This licence does not prevent you from using or licensing your images elsewhere.

Your Representations

By posting any content or uploading any image, you represent and warrant that:

• The content is your own original work, or you have all necessary rights, licences, and permissions to share it.
• The content does not infringe on any third-party intellectual property rights, privacy rights, or other legal rights.
• Any identifiable individuals in your photos have given their consent to be photographed and for the image to be shared publicly.

Content Removal

Guidavera reserves the right to remove any user-generated content at any time, for any reason, without prior notice.

Guidavera exists to help people find great restaurants through trust, quality, and genuine contribution. We enforce a zero-tolerance policy for behaviour that undermines the community.

The following are strictly prohibited:

• Harassment, bullying, or personal attacks — targeting other users, restaurant staff, or any individual with abusive, threatening, or intimidating language.
• Hate speech and discrimination — content that promotes hatred or violence based on race, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, religion, disability, or any other protected characteristic.
• Spam and self-promotion — repetitive posting, unsolicited advertising, affiliate link spam, or any form of content posted primarily for commercial gain without disclosure.
• Fake reviews and manipulation — posting dishonest reviews, impersonating another person, operating multiple accounts to inflate points or likes, or any form of reputation gaming.
• Doxxing and privacy violations — sharing personal information about other users, restaurant employees, or any individual without their consent.
• Illegal content — posting content that violates any applicable law, including defamation, copyright infringement, or incitement to illegal activity.
• Sexually explicit or graphic content — posting NSFW material of any kind.
• Coordinated inauthentic behaviour — operating bot accounts, vote rings, or any organised effort to manipulate community rankings, leaderboards, or content visibility.

Enforcement

Violations are handled at Guidavera’s sole discretion. Depending on the severity, consequences include:

• Warning — for minor first-time offences, you may receive a warning. There is no guarantee of a warning before further action.
• Content removal — offending posts, comments, or reviews will be removed immediately.
• Temporary suspension — your account may be suspended for a period of time during which you cannot post, comment, or interact with the community.
• Permanent ban — for serious or repeated violations, your account will be permanently banned. This includes loss of all accumulated points, levels, and community standing. Bans are final and are not subject to appeal.

We reserve the right to ban any user at any time if we believe their behaviour is detrimental to the community, even if their specific actions are not explicitly listed above.

Reporting

If you encounter behaviour that violates these guidelines, please report it using the in-app reporting tools. All reports are reviewed and kept confidential.

We make every effort to ensure the accuracy of restaurant information, ratings, and scores published on the Website. However, restaurant data changes frequently — hours, menus, prices, and availability can shift without notice.

Guidavera provides information for general guidance only. We do not guarantee that all information is accurate, complete, or current at the time you access it. Always confirm details directly with the restaurant before visiting.

Guidavera rankings and scores reflect our independent editorial methodology. No restaurant pays for inclusion, ranking, or preferential treatment. Our ratings are not influenced by commercial relationships.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Guidavera shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Website.

This includes, but is not limited to, damages arising from reliance on restaurant information, inability to access the Website, or any errors or omissions in content.
