Background
About Saraiba
The Story
Saraiba takes its name from the Galician word for hail, the icy rain that falls hard and soaks through to the bone, and sets out to bring Galician food to central Madrid. The restaurant says it is run by Daniel Ferreiro and David Poza, who cite years at the Madrid restaurant Viridiana.
The Cuisine
The kitchen works with Galician seafood and shellfish and meat from a charcoal grill, and there is a more casual salón for tapas, pinchos and a glass of Estrella Galicia.
