Bogatell Beach

Bogatell Beach is a roughly 700-metre stretch of sand in Barcelona's Sant Martí district, named after a former stream that once flowed to the sea. Like most of the city's shoreline, it was upgraded when the seafront was redeveloped in the 1990s around the 1992 Olympics, integrating the beaches into green spaces. Quieter than nearby Barceloneta, it offers sports facilities including a football pitch, volleyball area and table-tennis tables.
