Start with grill starters, chorizo criollo, morcilla, parrillera sausage, beef sweetbreads (€21.90) and provoleta with oregano or the El Gaucho version with ham, tomato and peppers, or with empanadillas criollas (€6.70). The steaks run from bife de chorizo, a 300 g strip loin (€29), to ojo de bife, entraña, Black Angus asado de tira and a mixed parrillada argentina, with grilled vegetables and salads alongside. There's a set menu at €17.90 on weekdays and €21.10 at weekends. Bread and aperitivo are €3.40 a head, and terrace prices carry a 10% supplement.
