The Story
Em Sherif started in Beirut and has grown into a Lebanese group with rooms in Kuwait, Damascus, London, Monaco, Doha and Oman. The Madrid restaurant opened in January 2026 on Calle de Alcalá, pitching itself as the taste of Lebanon in the heart of Madrid.
The Cuisine
Lebanese, seasonal and produce-led, with the kitchen leaning on colour and freshness. Mezze run hot and cold, from fattet batenjen (aubergine with yogurt and basil) to grilled octopus with parsley, coriander, green chilli and lemon; bokjat jebneh come straight from the furn, the bread oven; and kunafa, finished with syrup at the table, closes the meal.
