Background

About Al Son de Cuba

The Story

Al Son de Cuba sets out to share Cuban food traditions and Cuban warmth in one place, so that a meal feels like a trip through the island's colours and flavours: authentic recipes, good ingredients and attentive service.

The Cuisine

Cuban home cooking. The carta covers ropa vieja, picadillo a la habanera, masitas de cerdo and fricasé, with tostones, yuca and croquetas to start and flan and dulce de coco to finish. The bar pours mojitos, daiquirís and piña coladas, and there's a weekday menú del día.

House Dishes

Pork is the star of every Cuban celebration, the house says, and its Típica Cubana is pork roasted in an adobo of orange, cumin and garlic. The carta runs on through ropa vieja, picadillo a la habanera, masitas de cerdo and fricasé, with tostones, yuca, croquetas and a tropical salad to start. For dessert, papaya with cubes of white cheese, a sweet-and-salty Cuban favourite, alongside flan and dulce de coco. There are vegetarian and gluten-free options.

Cocktails, Menus and Groups

The cocktails are house creations with a Caribbean stamp, alongside mojitos, daiquirís and piña coladas. A menú del día runs Monday to Friday, 13:00–16:00, and for groups there are set menus at different prices, each with shared starters, a main, dessert and a drink, plus a cocktail-format option for events. Book on 910 233 445.
