Templo de Debod

The Temple of Debod is an ancient Egyptian temple built in the early 2nd century BC in Nubia, near Aswan, initiated by King Adikhalamani and later expanded under Ptolemaic and Roman rule. Egypt donated it to Spain in 1968 for its role in saving Nubia's monuments, and it was dismantled and rebuilt in Madrid's Parque de la Montaña between 1970 and 1972. It is one of the few works of ancient Egyptian architecture outside Egypt and the only one in Spain, designated Spanish Cultural Heritage in 2008.
