After meeting Ramon Barri in 1977, she travelled through Europe and the USA studying vegetarian cooking approaches including macrobiotics, raw food, and lacto-ovo vegetarian cuisine. In 1979, she opened her first restaurant, Paradis, in Lleida. The Barcelona location on Carrer de Jovellanos opened in March 2011. Her children Jordi and Mar Barri joined in 2010, founding Feel Good Food to produce artisan sauces, pasta, and pastries at their workshop in Bellcaire d'Urgell. The group also includes the Flax & Kale flexitarian brand.
