About Grama Lounge / GramaBar

The Story

Grama, styled GramaBar, is a Venezuelan restaurant and cocktail bar in central Madrid, built around an indoor tropical garden with sand underfoot. It sits on Calle de la Cruz near Puerta del Sol, and there's also a newer location in Villaverde.

The Cuisine

The menu is Venezuelan and Caribbean: arepas, tequeños, cachapas and grills with Venezuelan flavour, plus signature cocktails and natural juices.

What to Order

Start with tequeños and the other Venezuelan starters the house is proud of, then an arepa or a cachapa, the sweet-corn pancake; the 'Cachapa Carnívora' with entrecôte, tostones and a drink is €26 and available every day. Grills come with Venezuelan flavour, and the menu marks vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free and lactose-free options. To drink there are signature tropical cocktails and natural juices, with a weekday happy hour for after-work.

The Grama Group

Grama Lounge is part of a small Venezuelan group that also runs Grama Burger, a Grama food truck for hire at events, and Sákale. The Calle de la Cruz room takes groups and private events, accepts cards and Bizum, and is wheelchair accessible and pet-friendly. It's open every day from 13:00, to midnight most nights and 02:00 on Friday and Saturday; book online or call 912 40 55 87.
