Two Patties was co-founded in early 2023 by Gabriel Rodrigo, a former professional MotoGP/Moto2 racer who retired at age 26 after a traumatic brake failure at 300 km/h at Montmelo, and Miguel Puchol, the owner of Mantequerias Pirenaicas gourmet shops. After leaving racing, Rodrigo enrolled at Escuela Hofmann to study Marketing and Restaurant Management. The concept is 'fast good' -- a single-focus smash burger with premium Catalan beef from La Bassola farm in Castelltercol. They make 222 burgers daily until sold out. A second location opened on Carrer de Sardenya.

The kitchen serves a deliberately stripped-down menu of smash burgers using premium beef from La Bassola farm in Castelltercol (Catalonia).
