Darvaza is part of Grupo 9Reinas, a Barcelona restaurant group founded around 2010 by a group of Argentine friends who initially opened 9Reinas on Carrer de València. Named after the Darvaza gas crater in Turkmenistan, a natural flame crater burning continuously since 1971, known as the Door to Hell, the restaurant occupies over 500 square metres in L'Eixample with an open kitchen centred on wood-fired ovens and grills. The concept represents the group's evolution from Argentine cuisine into a broader global grill format.

Chef Adrián Gerardi leads a kitchen focused on global ember cooking with international beef cuts matched to their regional origin. The menu features bone-in ribeye (9.20 EUR/100g), Angus Tomahawk (9.40 EUR/100g), Black Angus ribeye (65 EUR), wood oven rice dishes including red prawn rice (29 EUR/person, min. 2) and lobster rice (46 EUR/person, min. 2), grilled monkfish (46 EUR), buffalo burrata (17 EUR), and Katsu Sando (21 EUR).
