Can Vilaro was founded in 1967 by Sisco's parents across from the Mercat de Sant Antoni, originally serving fork breakfasts to market stallholders early in the morning. The restaurant was featured on Guy Fieri's Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives in 2017 (Season 26), where Guy tried the beef's head stew, fried lamb brains, and meatballs with mushrooms.
