The Story
La Desayunería's whole thing is American breakfast, served all day. The owners say the idea came from a U.S. road trip where they lived on huevos, milkshakes, pancakes, bacon, omelettes and grilled cheese, then came back to Spain craving it and couldn't find it. They've been serving American breakfasts since 2015, and the Comte Borrell spot in Sant Antoni is one of several across Barcelona, Madrid and Málaga.

The Pancake House runs from a Silver Dollar stack (7,95) through city-named builds like Barcelona, Madrid, Valencia and Málaga, plus Red Velvet, Apple Cinnamon, Bacon Huevo and Chicken Pancakes (most around 10–13). Best sellers include the French Toast (11,95), the Especial Americano Mañanero (14,95) and the Continental Breakfast (16,95). There are breakfast burritos and quesadillas, breakfast rolls and waffles, tostadas with huevo revuelto, tomate and aguacate, yogur bowls and an ube chia pudding, plus sandwiches and burgers like the Bacon Cheese Burger (11,95) and Mac & Cheese (8,50).
