Designed by CMV Architects and completed in 2008, its distinctive oval tower is clad in a metal-mesh facade and rises above the surrounding El Raval streets. Barceló Raval opened in 2008 as part of a regeneration of Barcelona's El Raval district. Designed by CMV Architects, the hotel is an elliptical tower clad in a metal-mesh facade that stands taller than its neighbours along the Rambla del Raval. It operates under the Barceló Hotel Group. The building's signature feature is its 11th-floor 360° terrace, which wraps around the full perimeter of the oval structure and includes a small rooftop pool and solarium with panoramic views over the city. Inside, the B-Lounge serves as the hotel's restaurant and bar.
