Hot Now
Hot Now is a pizzeria on Calle de Barbieri in Chueca, open since 2018. Its signature, the 'pistacho' with pistachio pesto, courgette, confit tomato, panko and lime, is the pizza the house says won it the title of Spain's best pizza in 2022. Background
About Hot Now
The Story
Hot Now opened on Calle de Barbieri in 2018 with the aim of shaking up pizza in Madrid: long-rested dough, a hot oven and recipes it writes itself. The house says its pistachio pizza was named Spain's best pizza in 2022.
The Cuisine
Wood-fired pizza with creative toppings, plus burratas and starters, and vegetarian options.
What to order
The 'pistacho' is the house winner: pistachio pesto, courgette, confit tomato, panko and lime. 'Don Corleone' piles tomato, mozzarella, smoked scamorza, spicy datterini, Neapolitan salsiccia and a whole egg, and the truffled-burrata pizza comes with burrata to spread across the pie. From Monday to Friday (not holidays), 13:30 to 16:00, there's a lunch deal of a margherita or four-cheese pizza with a beer, soft drink or water, with other pizzas for €2 more.
