Lluerna has been a husband-and-wife project since 2001: Victor Quintilla in the kitchen, Mar Gomez running the dining room and curating a wine list of over 400 references. Located not in the Eixample or Born but in Santa Coloma de Gramenet, a working-class municipality on Barcelona's northern edge, the restaurant has earned its reputation purely through the cooking. Affiliated with Slow Food, Lluerna champions total sustainability: organic sourcing, seasonal rotation, zero-waste practices, and deep partnerships with local producers.
