The Story
Hamburguesa Nostra was born from Raza Nostra, a family butcher business started by Juan Jose Rodriguez Garcia, who left his village near Luarca in Asturias in 1958 at age 16 to train as a butcher. His son Carlos, an agricultural engineer specialising in animal science, combined his knowledge with his father's craft to create the Hamburguesa Nostra brand in 2007. The concept uses only meat from carefully selected Spanish autochthonous cattle breeds, with no added fats, sulfites, or gluten. Acquired by Grupo Rodilla in 2018, the chain now operates 21+ locations across Spain.
