Background

About Cecconi's

The Story

Cecconi's Barcelona opened in November 2016 as the public restaurant of Soho House Barcelona, the members' club on Passeig de Colom facing Port Vell. The concept is an extension of the original Cecconi's in London's Mayfair, itself a reinvention of the historic Venetian restaurant. Soho House adapted the format for Barcelona, creating a Mediterranean-facing Italian restaurant open to non-members. The building, a former customs house, was redesigned by Soho House's in-house design team with marble, terrazzo, and warm lighting.

The Cuisine

The Soho House kitchen team serves Northern Italian cuisine inspired by the original Cecconi's in Mayfair, adapted with Mediterranean ingredients. The kitchen is Northern Italian-focused with specialities in pastas, risottos, grilled fish and meats. The menu features classic Italian starters like vitello tonnato, burrata, and calamari fritti, followed by fresh pastas, grilled branzino, veal Milanese, and tagliata. Sunday brunch is a popular feature. Around 40 EUR per person without drinks.

The Team

Cecconi's is operated by the Soho House group, the global members' club and hospitality company founded by Nick Jones in London in 1995. The kitchen team operates under the group's standards across its global locations.
