Background
About Bodega Solera
The Story
Bodega Solera opened in summer 2023 in a corner space on Carrer de Còrsega in Gràcia, a block from Passeig de Sant Joan. The project is part of Grupo Mutis, the Barcelona hospitality group founded by Kim Díaz that also includes Bar Mut, Entrepanes Díaz and Tratoria Enriquetto. Bodega Solera was conceived as a natural wine bar serving more than 500 different grape varieties, all from producers working with ancestral, ecological or biodynamic methods - no chemical intervention, no aggressive filtering, no additives. The dining room combines tiled walls, marble counters and a vermut-friendly bar built around the wine cellar.
The Cuisine
The kitchen builds a short, rotating menu of Catalan and Mediterranean small plates designed to pair with the wine list. Signature dishes visible on the restaurant's own gallery include callos amb cecina (tripe with cured beef), artichokes with olivada and gamoneu cheese, coca with vegetables and butifarra negra, tomato tartare, tomato-and-tuna salad, patatas bravas with house-pickle mayonnaise and ñora brava sauce, oyster with Fino sherry, citrus tartlet, and chocolate-and-dulce-de-leche cup for dessert. The kitchen leans into sharing and wine-forward pairings. The wine list is the real anchor of the concept: 500+ grape varieties from low-intervention natural producers, with a focus on Catalan, Spanish and European artisan bottles.
The Team
Bodega Solera is part of Grupo Mutis, the Barcelona hospitality group led by Kim Díaz whose other venues include Bar Mut, Entrepanes Díaz, and Tratoria Enriquetto. Front of house is structured around the wine programme, with staff trained to pair and describe the natural-wine list at the bar. Service leans bar-first rather than restaurant-polished, suited to regulars ordering a few plates and a glass at the counter.

Experience
Bodega Solera Dining Experience
Bodega Solera combines the visual vocabulary of a traditional Spanish bodega - tiled walls, marble counters, barrels, a ham-carving station - with the energy of a modern natural wine bar. The lighting is warm and low, and most regulars eat at the counter or at small standing tables, ordering a few plates at a time. Service is wine-forward and attentive without being formal.

Bodega Solera Location & Neighbourhood
Getting There
Bodega Solera sits on a corner of Carrer de Còrsega in Gràcia, one block from Passeig de Sant Joan and within walking distance of the Passeig de Gràcia shopping corridor. The nearest metro is Diagonal (L3/L5), about 5 minutes on foot. The stretch of Còrsega here is quieter and more residential than the heart of Gràcia, and the bodega has the feel of a neighbourhood wine bar despite its growing destination status.
Nearby
Gràcia is Barcelona's village-within-the-city, a historic neighbourhood that was absorbed into Barcelona in the late 19th century and still retains its own identity - plaça-centred life, independent shops, and a dense network of small bars. The southern edge of Gràcia, where Bodega Solera sits near the Eixample border, is where many of the neighbourhood's most ambitious modern wine bars have opened in the last few years.
