Con Gracia is an intimate tasting-menu restaurant that husband-and-wife owners Jose Luís and Sabrina have run for more than twenty years on a quiet Gràcia side street.

Background

About Con Gracia

The Story

Jose Luís and Sabrina have run Con Gracia for more than twenty years, building it into one of Gràcia's most personal tasting-menu addresses. The dining room holds only a handful of tables and the couple themselves guide guests through each course, which has earned the restaurant a dedicated following of regulars who return season after season.

The Cuisine

The kitchen works exclusively in tasting-menu format. Two set menus are offered at the same price: the Menú Vintage, whose courses are written down in advance, and the Menú Experiencia, a chef's surprise that adapts to the table's preferences. The style is modern Catalan cocina de autor, seasonal, produce-led cooking with creative plating, from Galician red prawn rice to wagyu stuffed a la catalana and an igloo-shaped white-chocolate dessert. An optional wine pairing draws on a strong list of Catalan, Spanish and natural references.

The Team

Jose Luís runs the kitchen and Sabrina leads the service floor. The husband-and-wife team personally welcome, seat and explain each course, which is central to the restaurant's intimate, guided-experience feel.
