Horchatería Alboraya has made horchata in Madrid since 1980, when José Luis Monrós and Fina Galán brought tiger nuts from their own Valencian crops to the city. The Story

Horchatería Alboraya opened in Madrid in 1980, founded by José Luis Monrós and Fina Galán, who brought tiger nuts from their own Valencian crops to make horchata by hand. It now runs three branches, on Avenida de Felipe II, Calle de Alcalá and Plaza de Olavide.
