Entrevinos
Entrevinos is a wine bar and taberna on Calle de Ferraz in Argüelles, opened in 1996 by a group of friends in a former butcher's shop. The pull is the wine: a cellar of more than 300 references, from humble bottles to showpieces, and a by-the-glass list that changes weekly. The kitchen is simple and seasonal, built on fresh mushrooms, cheeses, Spanish cured meats, salazones and vegetables. Lunch daily, dinner Monday to Saturday.

Background
About Entrevinos
The Story
A group of friends opened Entrevinos in 1996, turning a former butcher's shop at Calle de Ferraz 36 into a wine taberna. The aim, in its own words, was a relaxed, unpretentious room for good wine and a few plates, and its house line still reads: life's too short to drink bad wine.
The Cuisine
The wine comes first: more than 300 references, from modest bottles to the spectacular, plus a weekly selection by the glass that takes in bold and modern wines, unusual grapes, olorosos, sparkling and the odd sweet glass. The kitchen cooks simply from the market: fresh and wild mushrooms, cheeses, Spanish cured meats, salazones, seasonal vegetables and fish of the day, alongside a few long-standing house classics.

Entrevinos Dining Experience
It's a laid-back, unpretentious wine bar, the kind of place to sit over a bottle and pick at a few plates. The house line, more or less: life's too short to drink bad wine.
