Oníric is the dream project of Jonatan Izquierdo and Laura Humanes, a couple who met in a restaurant kitchen and built exactly the place they had imagined together. The dining room in Vila de Gràcia is small and deliberately intimate, with a no-children, no-animals policy in service of slow, attentive meals.

Background

About Oníric

The Story

Oníric is the project of Laura Humanes and Jonatan Izquierdo, a couple who met working in a restaurant, dreamed together of a place to express what they had learned, and then built it. 'Oníric' means 'belonging or relating to dreams'. The Michelin Guide awarded it Bib Gourmand status, noting that it illustrates how the most longed-for and unattainable projects can become reality. The space is small and deliberately so: intimate, calm, and focused on the meal.

The Cuisine

Oníric's cooking is built on what the Michelin Guide calls 'modern cuisine from common sense', humble ingredients revealed in their full greatness, with technical precision applied without ostentation. Three tasting menus are offered: Herrén (€26, midday weekdays only), Oníric (€48, signature), and Somni (€80, full journey, whole table only). The Somni menu is served only on request at the whole table.

The Team

Oníric is run by Jonatan Izquierdo in the kitchen and Laura Humanes in the dining room, a tandem the Michelin Guide describes as champions of their shared culinary vision. Together they have shaped a restaurant where the cooking is personal, the service is warm, and every decision, from the menu structure to the no-children policy, is in service of a tranquil, focused dining experience.
