The Story

Grupo Nomo opened its first restaurant in 2007 in Gràcia and has since expanded to twelve locations across Barcelona, Girona, Costa Brava and Madrid. Nomo Eixample is the group's flagship in central Barcelona, designed by Trenchs Studio across 570 square metres on two floors with capacity for 120 diners on the pedestrian stretch of Consell de Cent.

The Cuisine

The kitchen, led by executive chef Naoyuki Haginoya, combines Mediterranean ingredients with Japanese technique. The carte covers Japanese tapas, gyozas, tempura, rice and noodle dishes, raw bar, sushi (hosomaki, uramaki, nigiri, temaki) and robata-grilled skewers exclusive to the Eixample location, plus two tasting menus, Naoyuki and Haginoya.

The Team

Executive chef Naoyuki Haginoya oversees the culinary direction for all Grupo Nomo restaurants. The Eixample kitchen team executes the group's repertoire alongside robata preparations exclusive to this location.
