La Cabrera brings the soul of Buenos Aires to Eixample: Gastón Riveira's celebrated Argentine parrilla format, with prime Hereford and Angus cuts, house-made empanadas, and the signature cazuelitas of sides that made the original Palermo Soho restaurant famous.

Background

About La Cabrera

The Story

La Cabrera was born in Buenos Aires in the Palermo Soho neighbourhood, where Gastón Riveira created one of South America's most celebrated parrillas, known for prime Argentine beef, house-made empanadas, and the signature cazuelitas of sides served alongside every cut. The Barcelona restaurant at Carrer de la Diputació, 239 brings the full La Cabrera experience to Eixample: the same philosophy of quality above all, the same Buenos Aires-inspired design, and the same conviction that the diner should wait for the meat, not the other way around.

The Cuisine

Argentine parrilla, with prime Hereford and Angus cuts from Argentina including ojo de bife, bife de chorizo, entraña, T-bone, tomahawk, and solomillo. Starters feature house-made empanadas, chorizo criollo, morcilla criolla, and provoleta. Each main course is served with the signature cazuelitas, small portions of house-made sides that change seasonally.

The Team

La Cabrera Barcelona is the creation of Gastón Riveira, restaurateur and the founding vision behind the La Cabrera brand, originally from Buenos Aires and now with international locations. Riveira's philosophy: only the best Argentine beef, respected and cooked to temperature, with quality that does the talking.
