Portal de l'Àngel

Avinguda del Portal de l'Àngel is a pedestrian shopping street in Ciutat Vella running from near Plaça Catalunya into the Barri Gòtic, named after a former medieval gate in the city wall. It is one of the most heavily trafficked streets in the city and has been cited as the most expensive commercial retail location in Spain. Its central position and constant pedestrian flow make it one of Barcelona's prime shopping thoroughfares.
