The Story
Casa Maruka opened in 2007 in Palma, in a restored house on a century-old Mallorcan estate near Plaça d'Espanya and the Intermodal station. It's run by María José Calabria, from La Mancha, and Alberto Serrano, from Mallorca, who met working at Lasarte in 1999 and later cooked together at Es Porxo before going out on their own. It picked up its first Repsol Sol in 2022 and has held it since.
