Background

About La Pescadería de Hermosilla

The Story

La Pescadería opened in Malasaña on 26 September 2013, named after the old neighbourhood fishmonger's that used to occupy the premises. Lamucca & Company opened this second location on Calle Hermosilla, in the Salamanca district, in September 2021, with a small terrace by the door and striking decor inside.

The Cuisine

Market cooking (cocina de mercado) that mixes traditional and trendy across field, sea, land and rice. A 'hora del vermouth' section brings gildas, Cantabrian anchovies on brioche, bravas with La Vera chilli oil, croquetas and rabo de toro tacos; then vegetables such as confit artichokes and ventresca milhojas, seafood from buñuelos de bacalao and chipirones to grilled octopus and a whole sea bass for two, and rice dishes for a minimum of two. There's a breakfast menu and a cocktail list for a long sobremesa.
