The Story
Okigo is a small specialty-coffee bar on Carrer de Mallorca, a few minutes from the Sagrada Família in the Eixample. It pours coffee roasted by The Miners Coffee, the Prague-founded roaster that opened its first Barcelona site in Poblenou in December 2022 and roasts on-site, so Okigo works with a properly sourced bean rather than roasting its own. What sets the counter apart is how far it lets you customise a cup: dozens of flavours run from seasonal pumpkin spice and gingerbread to more playful ones like bubblegum, and the same treatment extends to a flavoured matcha the shop also gets from The Miners. Food is made from scratch where possible — waffle sandwiches, a pastrami sandwich on brioche with horseradish, salads and croissants.
