Early years

Maglione trained in Mediterranean kitchens before joining the Disfrutar group.

Career

Maglione is head chef at Compartir Barcelona, the Eixample sibling of Compartir Cadaqués and Disfrutar — the three restaurants run by Oriol Castro, Eduard Xatruch, and Mateu Casañas. He works alongside Nil Dulcet, the partner and director who was first head chef of Disfrutar Barcelona before stepping into the Compartir project. Compartir Barcelona opened in June 2022.

Philosophy

Maglione's kitchen at Compartir Barcelona applies the elBulli-tradition technique of the founding trio to a more accessible shared-plates format than Disfrutar — Cadaqués and Mediterranean-driven cooking aimed at a wider audience.
