The Story

Ca S'Arquitecte sits in the centre of Sencelles, one of the small inland villages of Mallorca's Pla, right across from the town's school and sports centre. At its core it's a straightforward village pizzeria: a printed carta of pizzas, pasta, salads and starters, served inside or out on a garden terrace. What sets the menu apart is a running theme, every pizza is named after a well-known architect, from Gaudí and Zaha Hadid to Mies van der Rohe and Utzon, which plays on the restaurant's own name (Ca s'Arquitecte translates roughly as "the architect's house"). In its spring 2026 round of Soletes, the Guía Repsol's list of unpretentious, well-loved places worth a stop, the guide added Ca S'Arquitecte as one of just two picks from Mallorca's interior that year.

One verifiable detail: the same website that runs the pizzeria also hosts a genuine architecture-services page (planning and construction consultancy), with a contact address tied to a real architecture practice, which lines up with the restaurant's name and its architect-named pizza list. That link between the two sides of the business looks long-standing, since at least one of today's pizza names (Utzon) was already on the menu a decade ago, though current ownership isn't something we can confirm beyond that.
