Serra de Tramuntana

A mountain range running along Mallorca's northern coast, home to Puig Major (1,436 m), the island's highest peak, and Cova de sa Campana, its deepest cave. UNESCO designated it a Cultural Landscape in 2011 for its terraced agriculture, dry-stone water management systems, and centuries of human adaptation to a rugged terrain. The range holds 25 endemic plant species and receives significantly more rainfall than the rest of the island.
