Background
About Es Princep
Es Princep is independently run, by C'as Miot SL Unipersonal rather than a chain, inside a heritage-listed building in Palma's Old Town. The hotel's own site describes the design as local stone, copper and oak worked in to integrate the building into its historic setting. It holds a Michelin Key and belongs to Leading Hotels of the World (the hotel says it's the only Palma property in that collection). It also displays an ESG Sustainability Certification from 2024, and per the hotel's own site has picked up Conde Nast Johansens Awards for Excellence in 2020, 2023 and 2025, plus TripAdvisor Travelers' Choice recognition in 2024 and 2025. Tripadvisor's own Travelers' Choice list carried it again in 2026.

Restaurants in the hotel
Restaurante Zaranda, the hotel's own restaurant, holds one Michelin star under chef Fernando Perez Arellano, whom the hotel's site describes as Michelin-starred. It's the anchor of the food side of a stay here, with the spa and rooftop built around it rather than the other way round.
