Background

About Las Margaritas

The Story

Las Margaritas sits on Avenida de la Victoria in El PlantĂo and carries a Repsol Solete. It describes its rooms as clubs, spaces meant for people to meet in, for long sobremesas and shared tastings, and it takes on private lunches and bigger occasions alongside the everyday service.

The Cuisine

Market cooking with seasonal produce, in its own words: familiar recipes given a contemporary turn, plated to share and eaten slowly. The wine list, again per the restaurant, runs from the big classics through to more unusual bodegas, chosen to pair with the plates.

What's on the Carta

The restaurant frames itself around fresh produce and a lit grill. Aperitivos include a croqueta made with Guijuelo caldo, two versions of the gilda, a 'tiger-style' zamburiña and a mollete de cristal filled with aged picaña and a gherkin and tarragon tartare. Sharing plates run from the house bravas and an ensaladilla on regañá crackers to steamed venison dumplings, mushrooms with truffle, foie and cured yolk, steak tartare and gambones al ajillo. There are three rice dishes, among them a creamy carabinero rice and a dry rice with sirloin, and the grill covers bonito ventresca a la donostiarra, tuna parpatana with piparra vinaigrette, sea bass skewers and fish from the market, plus Ibérico abanico, a 450g entrecôte and a chuleta of 15-year-old Simmental beef and Pampas Wagyu skirt. Specials have included oxtail cannelloni in Port and Wagyu meatballs.

Clubs and Events

The 'club' idea goes beyond the dining rooms. The Club del Vino runs guided tastings built around single grapes, with autumn 2026 sessions on Albariño, Garnacha, Sauvignon Blanc, Pinot Noir, Tempranillo and Chardonnay at around €40 to €50 each, booked through the website. A Club del Yoga holds evening classes on Tuesdays or Wednesdays at 20:00, sold singly or in packs. The restaurant also organises private and corporate events, from birthdays and communions to company lunches and presentations, with a choice of spaces and a set menu arranged to order; enquiries go through the events page or WhatsApp.
