Background

About Masa Vins

The Story

Masa opened on Carrer de Pallars in April 2023, the project of Dani Bajc and Antonella Tignanelli. The founders describe it as a living room away from home, a small, unstuffy space where the fridges stay stocked with natural wine and regulars, known affectionately as Masians, drop in to eat and drink. A second Masa later opened in Chamberí, Madrid.

The Cuisine

Masa pairs a deep-cut natural-wine list with simple, seasonal dishes. The wine selection leans toward eclectic, family-run and female winemakers from Spain, Slovenia, Hungary, Czech Republic, Italy, Austria and France. The kitchen sends out small shareable plates built around fresh local produce.

The Team

Dani Bajc and Antonella Tignanelli founded Masa around a passion for community, sustainability and vinyl-soundtracked conversation. The team curates wine collaborations with small producers and has bottled its own pet-nats, Guerrilla, a Xarel·lo-Muscatel from a reclaimed Penedés vineyard, and Free Bobby, a 100% Callet made in Mallorca.
