Background

About Fismuler

The Story

Fismuler opened its Barcelona address at Carrer del Rec Comtal, 17, bringing the market-kitchen concept from the original Madrid restaurant (Calle Sagasta, 29) to El Born. The Rec Comtal is one of El Born's architecturally interesting streets: the old canal channel that once supplied the Ribera neighbourhood, now a restaurant and bar corridor between the Mercat de Santa Caterina and the Arc de Triomf area. The reviewed and recommended the Barcelona location. Fismuler's signature cheesecake, inspired by Basque restaurant Zuberoa where co-founder Nino Redruello once worked, is made with Idiazábal, blue cheese and fresh cheese for a distinctively savoury, un-sweet profile.

The Cuisine

Contemporary market-led kitchen with seasonal, ingredient-led dishes served from an open kitchen in a sharing format alongside a curated wine list and cocktails.

The Team

Fismuler was founded in Madrid in 2016 by Nino Redruello and Patxi Zumárraga, who expanded the market-kitchen concept to Barcelona. The group now operates restaurants in Madrid (Calle Sagasta, 29), Barcelona (Rec Comtal, 17), Lisboa and Andorra under a consistent identity. Fismuler does not publicly profile an individual head chef for the Barcelona location.
