Paolo Casagrande takes over the old Teatro Kitchen Bar space with Osteria Condal
Orobianco opens Osteria Condal at the former Teatro Kitchen Bar site (Av. Paral·lel 164) in late June or early July 2026. Paolo Casagrande is gastronomic director, Andrea Fiori is head chef.
Teatro Kitchen Bar closed on 21 December 2025, just over a year after chef Oliver Peña earned a Michelin star for the project at the Grand Hotel Central. The room sat at Avinguda del Paral·lel 164, a site previously occupied by Albert Adrià's Tickets from 2011 to 2020, and built its theatrical menu around 'Actos' and 'Escenas' with snacks, tapas, classics, and innovative preparations. It was recognised at the 2022 TheFork Restaurant Awards as one of the year's best openings.
The Orobianco group, headquartered in Calpe and holding one Michelin star, one Repsol Sol, and 29th place in 50 Top Italy's ranking of best Italian restaurants outside Italy, is taking over the site with Osteria Condal, scheduled for late June or early July 2026. Paolo Casagrande, gastronomic director of the new project and a Lasarte (Martín Berasategui's three-Michelin-star Barcelona restaurant) alumnus, leads the venture. Casagrande, an Italian trained at the Alfredo Beltrame Hospitality School in Vittorio Véneto, has worked in Milan, London, Paris, and Barcelona. Andrea Fiori is head chef, with prior stints in Shanghai, Bergamo, Lake Como, and Lasarte. Inna Skriabina manages the room.
The format: Mediterranean-rooted haute cuisine with international touches, served as shareable dishes alongside two tasting menus. The wine list holds 300 references, primarily Spanish with selections from France and Italy, and the menu rotates every three months. Astet Studio (the firm behind Leña by Dani García) designed the room around an open kitchen and a central cocktail bar. Service runs Tuesday to Saturday evenings, plus Saturday lunch, at an average check of €110 to €120.
Several Teatro staff moved over to the new project: Agostina Fernández (dining room), Marc Dot and Aldana Godoy (sommelier team), and Lorenzo Rossi (sous chef). Peña, meanwhile, has launched Mineral near Mercat del Ninot with his partner Cristina Losada.
