Mahou Bravas Fest turns Poble Espanyol into a patatas bravas showdown from Friday 2 to Sunday 4 October 2026, its fifth edition. More than ten Barcelona bars bring their bravas, among them La Esquinica, Senyor Vermut, Bar Córdoba, Montesquiu, Món Việt, Xinvic and Ocaña, and the winners come from two votes: a people's choice and an expert jury. Last year Món Việt took the jury prize and Xinvic the people's vote. Around the competition there are food and wine pairings, showcookings, raffles and plenty of music. Hours are Friday 6pm to midnight, Saturday noon to midnight and Sunday noon to 10pm. General entry is free for Catalonia residents with a ticket downloaded in advance (capacity is limited), and a paid Fast Pass adds priority entry and a menu.
