Biography

Early years

Born on 10 April 1991 in Jerez de la Frontera, de Bedoya grew up in a family of hospitality professionals. He trained in the Basque Country and later specialised in French cuisine.

Career

De Bedoya worked at Azurmendi, Cenador de Amós, DSTAgE, El Celler de Can Roca, and Lú Cocina y Alma before being recruited by Paulo Airaudo to lead the kitchen at Aleia. The restaurant opened in late 2021 at Hotel Casa Fuster on Passeig de Gràcia and earned its first Michelin star in November 2022. Its second came in the 2026 guide announced in November 2025, putting Aleia in Barcelona's two-Michelin-star tier.
