Biography
Early years
Noguera is the third generation of the Nuri family — the long-standing Barcelona restaurant lineage behind multiple Port-area seafood and rice projects.
Career
Noguera and co-chef Àlex Jiménez opened Nuara on the renovated Balcó Gastronòmic at Port Olímpic. The project is the most ambitious to date from the Familia Nuri group. Ismael Alonso of the three-Michelin-star El Celler de Can Roca consults on the kitchen. The format displays the day's fish and shellfish to diners and turns them out through the open kitchen and wood-fired grill. Nuara carries a Repsol Recomendado.
Philosophy
Noguera and Jiménez describe their kitchen as 'no frills — just the best seasonal ingredients.' The focus is sea and fire: premium fish from the city's market, treated through the brasa.
