Aromata is the first Mallorca ambassador for Menorca's Mostra de Cuina Menorquina

Aromata, chef Andreu Genestra's restaurant in Palma, is serving as the first-ever Mallorca ambassador for the Mostra de Cuina Menorquina, the Menorcan restaurant showcase running from 18 September to 4 October 2026. It's the first time the event, built around 23 restaurants across Menorca, has named an official representative outside the island.

For the showcase's 17 days, Aromata is running a menu built from Menorcan dishes made with local, seasonal products from the neighbouring island. Genestra framed the move as island solidarity: "hace muchos años que decimos que tiene que haber una hermandad entre islas, y la primera hermandad se hace sobre una mesa" ("we've been saying for years that there needs to be a bond between the islands, and the first bond is made at a table").

In Menorca itself, the 23 participating restaurants are offering a fixed-price Menú Mostra at €29.50 (VAT included, drinks separate) alongside a flexible-price Menú Gastronómico, both built around Menorcan products and recipes.
