The Mallorcan food chain Agromart opens its largest shop yet in Inca on Thursday 17 September, a roughly 500-square-metre 'mega-market' on Avinguda dels Reis Catòlics near the town's hospital, opening its doors at 6pm.
Founded in 2011 in Porreres and grown from a fruit-and-vegetable business, Agromart now runs shops across Mallorca, but the Inca store is its first at this scale. It leans on island chefs and producers: chef Marga Coll runs a fresh-food counter of ready-made dishes focused on healthy eating without additives or preservatives, while a new butcher's section carries quality-certified meat from Cas Sereno of Inca. There is also a café and a terrace.
