Background

About Orgaz

The Story

Orgaz was started by a group of hospitality people with one idea: a restaurant in Madrid you'd want to come back to, with recognisable cooking, a cellar chosen with care and close, friendly service. The room is bright and open to the street, made for meals, celebrations or a seat at the bar.

The Cuisine

Spanish cooking with a Mediterranean outlook, built on the product: fish from the lonja, a Mediterranean grill, nearby vegetables and cold-pressed oils, with a carta that changes with what's in season.

The carta

Classics like ensaladilla rusa and Iberian ham croquetas sit beside grilled meats such as the chuletón for two (€66) and mains like pulpo a la gallega. Most starters and mains fall between €12 and €30, and the kitchen runs straight through opening hours.

The cellar and groups

The wine list runs past 100 references, mixing big names with small producers. For celebrations there are group menus, and for events a set of cocktail menus.
