Barcelona chefs take top honours at Catalonia's 2026 National Gastronomy Awards

The Acadèmia Catalana de Gastronomia i Nutrició gave Raül Balam Ruscalleda (Moments) its Gastronomia d'Autor prize and Patricia Sierra (Granja Elena) the best Cap de Sala award at the 2026 Premis Nacionals de Gastronomia.

Barcelona took two of the top prizes at the 2026 Premis Nacionals de Gastronomia. Raül Balam Ruscalleda of [Moments won the Gastronomia d'Autor award, and Patricia Sierra of Granja Elena was named best Cap de Sala](https://www.cuina.cat/actualitat/noticies/raul-balam-jaume-subiros-grans-noms-premis-nacionals-gastronomia-2026_405790_102.html) (front-of-house) by the Acadèmia Catalana de Gastronomia i Nutrició.

The Gastronomia Tradicional prize went to Jaume Subirós of El Motel in Figueres, and the Revelació award to Laia Coma of Mare de la Font in Solsona, with the Nèstor Luján journalism prize going to Trinitat Gilbert.
