The Mediterranean Gluten Free Forum 2026 is the 4th edition of southern Europe's largest gluten-free trade and consumer expo, held at the Recinto Ferial de Sabadell on 23 and 24 May 2026 (Saturday 10:00 to 21:00, Sunday 10:00 to 17:00). Around 50 exhibitors and over 70 commercial stands showcase certified gluten-free bread, pizzas, pastries, cured meats, cheeses, croquetas, chocolate, gourmet popcorn, Mexican cuisine and km0 Catalan producers (a new dedicated zone in 2026, featuring honey, jams and artisanal proximity products). The forum is endorsed by the Associació de Celíacs de Catalunya and expects roughly 8,000 visitors over the two days. Programme includes industry and medical-scientific conferences, showcookings from chefs working entirely gluten-free, hands-on workshops, a children's area and a coeliac awareness zone. A practical pilgrimage for coeliacs, NCGS, allergy-conscious diners and any restaurant kitchen serving gluten-free professionally.

Worth the 30-minute Rodalies (S2) up to Sabadell Centre if you eat gluten-free or cook for someone who does. The 2026 edition's new km0 producer zone is the differentiator: artisanal Catalan honey, jams and proximity products you cannot find at the supermarket. Go Saturday morning for the chef showcookings, Sunday afternoon if you want a calmer browse.
