Tarragona gives romesco, its signature sauce and fish stew, a three-day street party on the upper stretch of the Rambla Nova, alongside the second edition of the Fira Tarragona Marida wine and food fair. Wooden stalls serve dishes from local restaurateurs and Mercat Central traders, paired with wines from the province's Denominacions d'Origen. Cooking sessions, round tables and children's romesco workshops fill out the programme, and chef Carme Ruscalleda is at the opening on Saturday 17 October.
