The 55th edition of the Conca de Barberà wine-harvest festival, when l'Espluga de Francolí turns into the DO's shop window for a weekend down at the Parc Fluvial, beside the cooperative cellar. The wine fair pours tastings from DO Conca de Barberà cellers, the Sigillum awards crown the DO's best bottles, and Sunday closes with the 'piada del primer most', the ceremonial treading of the first must. Friday opens with a smoked-fish-and-wine pairing, and across the weekend there's local gastronomy, family activities, a river 'descens del Xop' and a DJ night.
