Pick a recent restaurant meal, ideally one you remember clearly, and write a review.
- Keep it to 150-300 words. This forces you to choose what matters.
- Include at least one specific description. Not "the food was good." Describe one dish in enough detail that a reader can picture it.
- Include at least one assessment. Not just what it was, but whether it worked, and why.
- End with a verdict. Would you go back? Who should go? What's the essential thing to know?
- Read it back. Does it sound like you? Does it give enough information for someone to decide whether this restaurant is for them?
Don't overthink it. The goal isn't perfection. It's practice.
